Bought an iphone just 3 months ago and now find that the charging cable has started to play up (has to be inserted in a certain way). Apple have refused to replace it under warranty suggesting that it is some sort of user error. Lesson learnt - purchasing expensive products does not guarantee a quality service. 26-10-19

Can't speak highly enough of the Apple Store in Exeter the staff were polite and helpful from the minute I stepped in the door and the Genius Bar gave quick, decisive advice and a new phone no hassle when they couldn't fix the problem and then made sure my data was back up and then restored onto my new phone. Awesome service with a smile to boot!! 25-06-15

My daughter and her boyfriend made appointments to see someone in the Exeter Apple store to sort out some problems on their iphones. They had to make a special trip from our home town and this had to be made on a Saturday due to college and work commitments. On arriving at the store they were told that they had to get in a queue to be seen and unfortunately, when they eventually got to the front of the queue they were told that they were THREE MINUTES LATE and their appointment had been given to someone else. This is disgusting service as they had been standing in the queue for five minutes! They had made a special journey on the train to see someone and I would have expected some sort of leeway due to the queue in the store. The only explanation they received was that Saturdays are always busy and they should visit the store on another day. This is very bad service and management. it is not possible for them to get in on another day and the way that they were told this was rude. 05-10-14

Got I pad at this store 3 years ago. Got new iPad 4 retina as present. Staff refused to help me download data from old to new pad cos new one wasn't bought at Exeter! 06-09-13

I received good service at the store however the back up service is rubbish. I have phoned the line i was told would help, and was put on hold for 35 mintutes before i hung up! That happened twice. I am trying again now for a third time. There is always one call ahead of me! Lucky person. I will have to get on a bus and go to Exeter - 20 miles each way. Not good enough. If Id know the back up service was so bad Id wouldnt have bought an i pad from there. 19-03-13

Excellent service, competent, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase an Apple product. We have swapped our entire office computers to Apple just over 2 years ago and have found them to be above and beyond the usual level of customer service, we have experienced previously.

Excellent after sales care, the few issues that did arise initially (our fault with lack of knowledge about the OS) were rectified immediately, both in store and over the phone.

If we could give more stars we would. 31-07-12

It's a great place to go to buy, but poor process when you go back for an appointment. Ended up waiting over 20 mins to find out I had not been "checked in" when told I was. Ended up walking out as it was clear they are imcomptetant.
Spoke to the manager who also apologised but did not offer to try and resolve my iPad problem.
Instead of trying to solve my iPad problem, just saying sorry is all they could offer. Strikes me they are happy to sell, but not bothered at helping if you have a problem.
I won't be buying any apple products from this store ever. 05-05-12
