Hamish plumbed my washing machine in exactly the way I wanted it. He promptly responded to my text messages and emails. He came on time as promised, worked cleanly, and completed some minor corrections as requested.

Overal, I am more than happy to recommend him to anybody living in the area of Exeter who requires a professionaly done plumber work.

Coming home from work one evening, I found a massive leak in my upstairs toilet with the water making its way through the ceiling. Hamish was very quick to respond and came round the same evening to get everything sorted for a very reasonable price. Very honest and knowledgeable plumber! Would very much recommend him.

I found Hamish online, noticed a colleague had reviewed him positively.
Even without that I liked the way the website is presented, very clear.

We had a pressure problem on our hot water supplies which had got increasingly worse over time. Showers were not as pleasurable as they had been! Would start off at a pressure and then would ramp down after about 15 seconds. We have an Unvented Hot Water Cylinder on which it turned out that an inbuilt strainer/filter had clogged up over time and needed replacement. Hamish got stuck in and we now have ‘power showers’ again and with the added benefit of increased pressure on all our cold taps. Hamish kept us well posted as to arrival times and was very proficient. Thoroughly recommended!

Hamish did a fantastic job for my elderly parents. Turned up on time, and on the day he said he would! Clean, pleasant and efficient, with an up to date report on the work he had done. Even did a job for which he did not charge. Would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Great service from the phone call to fitting new shower, same day carried out work to a very high clean service can’t fault at all. Friendly chap with the answers to my questions on future purchases. Highly recommended local plumber.

Hamish was able to diagnose a water pressure issue i had with a shower help me pick a suitable replacement and then fit the new pump without a problem. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. He is polite, punctual and an interesting and friendly chap. Very happy with his service.

It was a real pleasure having Hamish sort a number of niggling little jobs that had been accumulating for a while. His website gives all the information that you will need including full details on his labour charges and usefully a list of ‘pricing guide by job type’. He arrived when he said he would and quietly got on with the tasks in hand. Thoroughly recommended.

Hamish has done two jobs for me. Fantastic communication (face to face, text, email and calls. Flexible with fitting in jobs- did not have to wait long at all. Did a great job on both occaisions - new kitchen tap and new shower part. Would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Quick invoicing which I like.

Very professional service, called me back within half an hour and managed to fit me in between other jobs to fix a leaking pipe which would have ruined my brand new carpet. Talked me clearly through the problem and what he'd done to fix it and was very conscientious about cleaning up after himself. Would definitely use Hamish again and recommend him to others.

Hamish the plumber is amazing! He is so efficient and tidy and obviously cares a lot about his customer service.
He phoned me when he was on his way to make sure I was home. He took a really good luck at my issue and did a great job of being thorough in his approach. Our sink needed a bit of TLC and Hamish did this very efficiently. He was very tidy and organised, explained everything in a way even I could understand, answered all my questions and even took the dirty water back to empty elsewhere so as to not mess up my house. His prices are very reasonable and he is just a good honest plumber. I highly recommend him.

Very efficient and fast. Gave very good advice on shower replacement and actually went out to get the new shower for us straight away...as well as securing a discounted price on it. Everything was fixed extremely quickly as a result! Highly recommend!!

Our office tap decided to break the week before Christmas. With 100 people in the office I needed a plumber to attend promptly. I left a message with Hamish who replied very quickly and came out the same day. He was able to supply and fit a new tap that day. He was very professional and I would recommend him.

I have used several plumbers in Exeter over the last 25 years. Hamish is the best. He explained and consulted on what he was going to do before he did it. He achieved tasks that others have not been able to attempt. He understood and repaired an out of date toilet mechanism. He knew how to replace a dated shower cartridge without replacing the whole shower. He managed to remove, clean and return bathroom tiles without breaking them. He may be slightly more expensive than some plumbers, but the quality of his work far outweighs any disadvantage. His time keeping was flexible and punctual. He left clean and tidy all the places where he worked. He is impressively well equipped. As others have remarked we had every confidence he was trustworthy. You won’t find anyone better.

Hamish was friendly, punctual and professional and sorted out both our jobs in a tidy and efficient manner.

He also took the trouble to explain a couple of things that I had been wondering about regarding the location of our stopcock and how to shut the water off in an emergency should I need to.

Reasonably priced and very pleased with the work done. Would use again.

I can highly recommend Hamish the Plumber- I was moving house and needed help with a leaky toilet and dishwasher installation. Both were completed within an hour and a half and to excellent standard. Hamish was also quick to respond to my call and his manner is very trustworthy. I will be calling him again shortly for more help on my new house!

Excellent and prompt response from Hamish, who came next day and solved both our toilet cistern and kitchen tap problems efficiently and quickly. After being quoted £80.00 an hour labour costs by one of the plumbing hotlines (which I refused) I was quite anxious to find a local recommended & reliable plumber. Hamish was recommended to me (by another plumber) and I am extremely pleased with his standard of work and attention to detail. We now have a fully functioning toilet flush, with quality components and best of all it didn't cost me the earth to sort it.
