Brilliant knowledge of the guitar, and music in general. I learnt an awful lot for Mr Bailey, theory and technique. Not only a good musician, but a great teacher and a nice guy. I would highly recommend him to anyone intrested in learning the guitar or even music theory !

David has taught my son guitar for 5 years. His lessons are pitched at an approriate level and my son has always found them enjoyable. My son started guitar lessons for a hobby but is now taking music at GCSE. I have no doubt that his lessons play an important part in complementing his school classes. I found David to be a first class tutor. My musical styles are quite broad and David was able to cater for this quite happily. He would go out of his way to provide additional teaching material and homework when required and all for a very acceptable fee.

Took over teaching my daughter from another teacher and really brought her guitar playing on leaps and bounds. She is playing songs she enjoys rather than only working on theory. It has meant a renewed interest in practice rather than me having to remind her to do it. I would highly recommend David.

I have had lessons from Dave for the last few years and have learnt a range of Blues, classical and popular music.

David is an excellent teacher, he has the ability to inspire and keep interest up in the guitar. He has adapted and reflected my son’s musical tastes (rock, folk, blues, thrash metal) into each lesson, but he has also got him through his grades!

Mr Bailey taught my son guitar for four years. He studied Rock school grades and was successful in the examination he was prepared for by Mr Bailey. The tuition was tailored to my son's interest and needs and was fundamental in his progress as a guitarist. My son is now studying music at college and records and performs around South Devon with his
band.

David has been my son’s guitar teacher for the past 4 years. Initially he taught him electric guitar but as my sons interests have broadened, he is now teaching him classical. My son has been inspired by David to constantly improve his playing and has been given lots of practical tools and encouragement over the years. We have found David, to be accessible and happy to discuss our son’s progress.

This teacher set work which my son found interesting and changed it appropriately. He also wrote regularly in a practice notebook and gave clear written feedback so it was easy to see how to encourage useful practice at home to help him to progress. He used a mixture of existing books with CD backings but also made his own backings, tunes and exercises for practice purposes.
