so sorry I have to complain as I am usually happy with Lakelands store in Exeter and their staff. I visited the store last week to purchase a mixer, the young lady who serve me was so helpful (cant remember her name) I asked her also about your large slow cooker which she strongly recommended and said that so many of your customers were very pleased with this cooker. I could not carry anymore that day and she offered to have it delivered to me but like all women I wanted it there and then. I went home with my purchase and told my husband about the slow cooker and he said he would take me back into town to get it. It was now after 4 45pm and very quiet in your store. There was only the one cooker on display so I asked the young lady if she had another one and she was quite rude and annoyed and said' was i going to buy it, I said yes please, she went downstairs and came up with one and slammed it on the counter with a bang and said £44.99, my husband turn around to see what the bang was and could not believe it and he said you had better check it when we got home to make sure she had not damaged it. It was well packed inside so it was fine. I have been in again today as it is my favourite kitchen store and the staff were lovely.
