Martin came to our house to see what cleaning was required and we agreed to have him over for 2 hours on a fortnightly basis. On the first day he arrived promptly at 09:00 and got to work cleaning the house. When he had finished he let me know he was leaving and said bye.
I then noticed the time and queried why he was leaving 20 minutes early, and asked to clarify if we were paying for 2 hours. He replied to say yes we were paying for 2 hours and it had been nearly 2 hours. I then informed him that actually it was only 10:40, and he simply said that is how it works, there is noting else to do. I said again that we had paid for 2 hours and he handed back my key and said he would not be returning.
Having looked around the house, the work that had been completed was of a high standard, but there were certainly other things that could have been done in the last 2 minutes.
Honestly the attitude of the owner was poor and this experience has really put me off getting a cleaner again.
