Very pleased with help and service . Touring from Australia and after losing the only pair of driving glasses my husband had with him he was able to get a new pair within a few hours at a very reasonable price saving a great deal of stress for us as we drive on through this beautiful country. I was informed my glasses were ready for collection.
However, when I went to collect them Vision Express Exeter had made them with completely the wrong lenses. There were no trained staff in store to change the lenses, nor was there a duty manager to talk to.
Having spoken to Customer Services, I was informed that by way of an apology the Exeter store manager was offering me a free eye test next time I needed it - an offer that is available to every customer anyway if they spend £99 on glasses.....as I had. So in essence, no offer at all.
In other words, Vision Express couldn't care less about their mistake or my wasted time.
I phoned Customer Services again but they were very unhelpful and simply defended Vision Express Exeter's actions and said that, "all the quality control checks had been done, it was just a simple error by their member of staff inputting the order into the computer"
Astonishingly poor attention to detail, bad service and disinterested customer service.
Luckily, other Opticians are available. 17-05-17

I purchased glasses 1 yr ago and collected just before I went abroad. I think my glasses may have been too strong so I got it sorted while I was abroad so out of my own pocket!!! I returned to vision express for my annual check and was happy to know my vision was fine with my glasses my eyes were healthy and that I didn't need to spend more money on my 9 month old glasses. When the optician explained my situation to one of the sales clerks he rolled his eyes!!! Probably because he wanted me to buy glasses?? How rude!! I think he was the manager too! The only reason I'm returning to that store is because I trust the optician I saw. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Explained everything about my vision an prescription to me. 29-03-16

I would like to express the customer care from one of your staff Jayne , she was such a pleasant lady , and went beyond her duty to make myself and husband relaxed and welcome , this was our 1st visit to vision express and we will most definitely always return for our eye test / new glasses , we recommend you to family and fiends 26-03-14
