One of the nicest coffee shops around. A good independent business that serves not only great coffee but lovely freshly prepared meals & snacks. Very friendly & welcoming staff. I visit regularly & it’s nice to see them doing so well.

Absolutely stunning coffee! I like my coffee & drink a lot of it & this is by far one of the best tasting coffees I’ve had in Exeter.
It’s a lovely independent business which I really like. The staff are always pleasant & helpful, they do a great job.
There is plenty of food choices on their menu, from main meals to lovely toasted tea cakes (they always give you plenty of butter!!)
I visit as often as I can, it has a lovely community spirit & it’s always nice to sit & chat to people whilst watching the world go by.
On top of all this you have 2 hours FREE parking just outside of cafè.
5 stars!!

I regularly visit The Coffee Cup and enjoy the peace and tranquillity it offers me away from the hustle and bustle of Exeter's main shopping area.
The menu is fairly plentiful while the prices are good value for money. Service from all staff is prompt and efficient while they are always polite to me and make my custom feel valued. I genuinely enjoy going in here and having a pot of tea and a teacake and then watching the world go by. It really is a relaxing place for me to go when I have some downtime from work and it isn't the same as some cafes nearer the centre of Exeter where you feel like you have just fallen off a conveyor belt or you are subjected to loud boom-diddy-boom music.
Keep up the great work, I'll be back soon!

Doesn’t even deserve the one star
Far from it !!!
The most rudest welcoming from a cafe I have
Ever encountered
Clearly hates his job
Asked the most simplest questions to be greeted
With grunts and just unbelievable rudeness
He is lucky he has all the old folk that have been
Probably going there before he was even
Born and when it was pleasant to be there
Just out and out rudeness
No social skills what so ever
Or the cook
Just common people with no manners
Will make sure all my friends know not to
Go there I doubt they would as it’s
Below average in cafe standards in Exeter
But not made up by personality
