I was informed my glasses were ready for collection. However, when I went to collect them Vision Express Exeter had made them with completely the wrong lenses. There were no trained staff in store to change the lenses, nor was there a duty manager to talk to. Having spoken to Customer Services, I was informed that by way of an apology the Exeter store manager was offering me a free eye test next time I needed it - an offer that is available to every customer anyway if they spend £99 on glasses.....as I had. So in essence, no offer at all. In other words, Vision Express couldn't care less about their mistake or my wasted time. I phoned Customer Services again but they were very unhelpful and simply defended Vision Express Exeter's actions and said that, "all the quality control checks had been done, it was just a simple error by their member of staff inputting the order into the computer" Astonishingly poor attention to detail, bad service and disinterested customer service. Luckily, other Opticians are available.
